Kelp is seaweed high in natural iodine to support iodine deficiency

New Zealand Sea kelp is a natural source of vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and E, as well as minerals including zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron, potassium, copper and calcium. Of all the plants in the world Kelp contains the most amount of natural Iodine per volume, and is mainly used medicinally for its Iodine properties.

What’s the recommended dosage
Each bottle contains 90 capsules.
The standard dosage is to take 1 capsule per day with food, providing 300 micrograms of natural iodine. To prevent iodine overdose, it is advised to take a week off from supplementation every 2 weeks. It’s crucial not to exceed the recommended dose without obtaining permission from your doctor. Prioritizing your well-being and following the recommended guidelines is essential when using this supplement.

Kelp is commonly used for:
– Managing radiation poisoning from nuclear fallout

Are there any precautions?
This product is not recommended for individuals with hyperthyroidism or those who are sensitive to iodine. Prolonged daily use is also not advised. If you are currently taking other drugs or supplements, it’s essential to consult with your doctor before considering the use of this product.

Are there any side effects?
Excessive iodine intake: The most common side effect associated with kelp is an iodine overdose. As long as the recommended dosage of 1 capsule per day is followed, this is unlikely to occur. Overconsumption of kelp can lead to hyperthyroidism, resulting in symptoms such as weight loss, irregular menstrual periods, fatigue, and increased bowel movements.

Laxative properties: Kelp contains natural laxative properties. Taking too much may lead to side effects like diarrhea, heartburn, and dehydration. It is essential to stay hydrated by replenishing fluids promptly if such symptoms occur. For severe symptoms, consult your doctor.

Anti-coagulant effects: Kelp can slow down blood clotting due to its anti-coagulant properties. This may increase bleeding in the gums and urinary tract, even with minor injuries or traumas. It’s crucial to be cautious during surgeries or after procedures that involve bleeding, as kelp could interfere with blood clotting.

Prioritize your health by adhering to the recommended dosage and monitoring for any adverse effects. If you experience significant symptoms or have any concerns, consult your healthcare professional promptly.
